So, if it’s sport and other outdoor activities that you want, look no further. But if you just want to relax in the forest, or by the lakes and rivers, this is also your haven.

There are several white water rafting companies operating on the nearby Devil’s River and Red River. Traditional Canadian canoeing and kayaking is available on these rivers also, Lac Tremblant, within Mont Tremblant National Park and on many other lakes. Cycle hire is plentiful and cheap, and there are many cycle trails including the ‘Petit Train du Nord’ a 200km long cycle trail on a converted rail line.

In addition to the pool complex on site and close to the cabin, you can also swim in many of the lakes, including Lac Superieur near the cabin, and there is an indoor pool complex in the resort village. Sailing, windsurfing and other water sports are available on Lac Tremblant and you can even take a seaplane trip from Lac Quimet. Mont-Tremblant National Park - Summer Activities
Live the mountain experience to the fullest: Via ferrata du Diable
To allow visitors to discover and appreciate its landscapes from a whole new perspective, the park is offering for a 3rd season a one-of-a-kind mountain experience centering on the Via ferrata du Diable. Very popular in Europe, “via ferrata” or “iron roads” have progressively made their appearance in Québec in recent years. A spectacular view awaits you on this iron road, laid out on the Vache Noire rock face at the entrance to the Diable sector!

Just think of the unforgettable memories that you will take home from your outing in the company of a professional guide who will help you safely cross the stemples, several types of bridges and two walkways. Imagine progressing slowly towards a walkway that will offer you a bird’s eye view of the winding Diable River below. On the horizon, after ascending 200 metres in altitude, you will feel a sense of awe as you enjoy the magnificent vista of the mountains that are present all along the "via ferrata". The way you look at this majestic park will be forever changed …

There is no need to be a climbing enthusiast to take part in this experience and all of the necessary personal safety equipment will be supplied for your outing (baldrick, lanyards, snaps and helmet). What better way to familiarize yourself with the mountain! There is even a learning circuit that allows you to become acquainted with the rudiments of progressing along "via ferrata" before you experience the real thing.

Spotlight on hiking
Hiking is a great way to discover the park’s large open spaces. You can choose from 18 trails that vary in length and in difficulty. Whether it is the discovery of the majestic Chute-du-Diable falls, the ascension of Sentier La Roche trail leading you to a panoramic lookout over Lac Monroe valley and the Mont Tremblant massif, or an outing on one of our discovery trails (with an explanatory brochure in hand), hiking enthusiasts have plenty of options available to them.

A stay in a yurt in the heart of nature
A yurt is the traditional dwelling of nomadic tribes living in the steppes of Central Asia. Its round shape is an invitation to relax and to get a welcome break from it all, while its apex allows you to gaze at the stars. On the shores of Lac des Cyprès, it is now possible to enjoy a stay in the heart of nature whether with your family, your "better half" or among friends! Located in a paradise-like setting characterized by tranquility, four yurts are offered at Pygargue and at Balbuzard in the L’Assomption sector. You will also find five yurts laid out on the shores of Lac Provost in the Pimbina sector. Located near all the services, including a beach with a lifeguard on duty, a water sports equipment rental centre and the information kiosk, yurts offer families a relaxed atmosphere and a privileged contact with nature, while providing all the comforts.

Navigating Les Méandres du Diable
Are you intrigued by the formation of varves, the creation of the river’s many twists and turns, and the wildlife and plant life that inhabit this environment? At Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, one of the favourite activities is unquestionably the descent of the Diable River, from Lac Chat to Mont de la Vache Noire. During this descent in a canoe, a solo kayak or a tandem kayak you will encounter the twists and turns of the river, the spectacular rock face of Vache Noire, a silver maple forest, and of course the sandy shores, where you can bask in the sun as you enjoy a well-deserved break. The package includes the canoe, the floatation vests and round-trip transportation in the park.

River Walk
In addition, visitors can learn more about Rivière du Diable thanks to our new discovery brochure. The latter, which can be borrowed free of charge, will allow you to make a self-guided descent of Rivière du Diable. This descent can also be made in the company of a park warden-naturalist who will guide your observations and will share his knowledge with you during your descent. This service is available at 9:00 a.m. every day from June 24th to September 5th.

Discovery activities
Discovery activities enable visitors to develop a greater knowledge of the wildlife and plant life of a national park. A park warden-naturalist will accompany you and convey his knowledge to you according to the specific animal or environment concerned. Both entertaining and varied, discovery activities are a good way of learning more about the park while contributing to its conservation mission.
